  2. Audit your actual data depth. Do you have enough genuinely distinct, specific information per page to avoid near-duplicate content? If not, the project needs a data investment before a content investment.
  3. Design the template around usefulness, not just keyword insertion. Build in genuinely dynamic content — real numbers, real specifics, real comparisons — not just a variable dropped into static boilerplate.
  4. Start with a small pilot batch rather than generating thousands of pages at once, and check how they perform (indexation rate, rankings, engagement) before scaling further.
  5. Maintain the data. Programmatic pages built on data that goes stale (old pricing, outdated listings, superseded comparisons) degrade in usefulness and can start actively hurting user trust and site quality over time — this is an ongoing maintenance commitment, not a one-time build.
